323 Latrobe Street

323 Latrobe Street is a 44-storey residential tower located in central Melbourne.

Shan Kumar as the chief engineer and head of innovation for Hickory at the time and now a principal engineer with SCE Australia was responsible for the development of the design and documentation of the 44-storey HBS1 modular residential apartment building.  Shan was also responsible for the design of all modules for transport, erection and final placement. 

This project won the following awards:

·         Award for Excellence, Victoria 2017 – Concrete institute of Australia

·         Most Outstanding concrete structure 2018 – FIB

·         Construction award 2018 – Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH)
